Our nursery is part of the local community. Children are welcome visitors to libraries, theatres, museums, farms and markets, and often participate in fundraisers for various children’s charities such as ‘Children in need’, ‘Save the Children’ and ‘Red nose day’. Children are often taken on trips termly which range from local trips to the Gambado, a children’s indoor play centre, London Aquarium, to Legoland Windsor and Southend seaside.
We invite parents, grandparents and key people in the community, such as the police and fire fighters into our nurseries so that children build multi-generational relationships and develop their Knowledge and Understanding of the World.
