Safeguarding Policies & Procedures
Yukon Nursery is committed to safeguarding the welfare of children in our care.
We do this by providing a caring, positive, safe and stimulating environment which promotes the social, physical and moral development of every child, taking into account their age, characteristics and needs.
Staff
We hire passionate, dedicated and caring practitioners who are committed to making a difference in children’s lives. All staff are fully qualified, from Level 3 in childcare to Bachelor of Arts degree in early education. All staff and
extra-curricular teachers are DBS enhanced checked before having access to working with the children.
Security
We have a fully operational CCTV system monitoring all areas of the nursery internal and external.
We also have a register system in place for all staff, parents and visitors to sign in and out of the nursery. All children are also signed in and out by their parent/carer upon entering and leaving the nursery, ensuring safety for all.
Safety
The safeguarding of all children, staff, parents and visitors is paramount to us.
We have measures in place to ensure that all children, staff, parents and visitors feel safe at all times.
